Patti Drennan's arrangement of the Sussex Carol is full of joy and life! Scored for SATB choir, flute, and optional congregation, this arrangement begins as a high moment of Christmas praise. The second verse features lovely, echo-like choral writing between men and women. The final stanza concludes with the opportunity for the congregation to rejoin the festivities. The choir finishes the piece with exciting "Alleluias!" Optional flute and congregation parts included.
