Our customers who usually buy hymn-based organ music have been quite taken with Mr. Stover's original, non-hymn-based pieces! (See his "Tambourine," 10-437, for example.) His "Blue Prelude" is exactly what the title indicates; it's introspective with complex and lush harmonies. An "Art Deco" homage to Gershwin, Ellington, and other composers of the '30s and '40s- it's perfect for an unusual piece on a recital. While we don't exactly rule out using it in worship, it might be a tad too sultry!
