This is a straightforward, three-stanza setting of LAUDA ANIMA. After the opening fanfare and first stanza, the second stanza is more subdued, employing mallets (or plucking, if desired), a treble-clef melody, and a moving eighth-note bass accompaniment. A brief transition and a modulation from the key of G to C lead to the triumphant final stanza. The arrangement contains ample bell changes to accommodate and complement the hymn's traditional harmonization and sturdy, victorious tune. Scored for 3–5 octave handbells. Level II+. 70 measures.
