Arranged by professor and string player Alan Armstrong, this joyful hymn is created as an award winning solo competition piece. Although classified as a violin solo, it employs animated interplay with the piano. After stating the theme, the piece transitions keys and tempo, culminating in a rousing recapitulation of the theme. Also usable as a festival piece, church solo, or concert selection, this work provides bowing and fingering markings.
