"God of Our Fathers" is an arrangement which is skillfully crafted for solo trumpet with piano accompaniment as a patriotic tribute using our majestic national hymn to convey the emotional message that all men are created equal...and endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights... [namely] Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. The simple truth and pure faith of our forefathers in God and Country is exemplified and enhanced musically with the addition of two statements from Antonin Dvorak's great symphony depicting the United States of America, the "New World Symphony." Both the trumpet player and pianist are featured as soloists throughout.
