"God of Our Fathers" is a beautifully written arrangement featuring solo trombone with piano accompaniment. It is written as a patriotic tribute to acknowledge that God has been good to us as a nation and in turn we honor and praise Him. Using the theme of our majestic "National Hymn" to convey this emotional and uplifting message, it is enhanced musically with the popular and beloved theme from Antonin Dvorak's great symphony depicting the United States of America, the "New World Symphony". This piece is a sure audience pleaser and both the trombonist and pianist are featured as soloists throughout.
