This is a refreshing setting of a Robert Burns text sure to lend variety and life to your next concert or contest performance. The underlying eighth notes remain constant as grouped in twos or three within the meters as they shift between 4/4, 7/8, 3/8, and 6/8. A middle section gives respite in 4/4 meter as the singers proclaim, "I will love thee still, my dear, Till all the seas run dry." A challenging work for high school or community choirs, but worth the effort.
