This piece should be sung exuberantly throughout! The contrasting B-section (m44) should be performed with a hushed sense of wonder. Allow measures 57-73 to build dynamically and in excitement and intensity as each voice part enters. Finally, may the text "Let your song be love" remind all who sing and hear this piece that life is too short and precious to allow anything but love to direct our hearts.
