For SSA Voices and Piano
Arranged and edited by Ben May
One of Schubert's early works, penned in 1816 while he was only 19, this work hearkens back to an earlier time. The running eighth notes in the piano accompaniment with triadic harmonies in the upper hand doubling the choir combined with the festive, joyful spirit of the text are a nod to the Baroque era. Translation and pronunciation guides are provided.
