"Sheep May Safely Graze" comes from Cantata No. 208, Was mir behagt, ist nur die muntre Jagd (What pleases me is the lively hunt only) also known as the Hunting Cantata, which J. S. Bach composed in honor of the birthday of Duke Christian of Sachsen-Weissenfels in 1713. This aria is arranged in a simplified version for organ by the great Daniel Pinkham (1923–2006). Dynamics are left to the discretion of the performer.
