Although not really a "season" in the traditional sense, Trinity Sunday is the first Sunday of the longest season of the liturgical year, lasting until Advent-nearly half of the calendar year. And with many Christian hymns fitting these Sundays, this prominent and venerable composer has crafted 16 organ settings appropriate for this period of time.

Useful as separate preludes, offertories and/or postludes within the worship service, or even as extended hymn introductions, they will fill an important niche in the organist's library.
