SATB

This flexible hymn setting of HYFRYDOL opens with a fanfare utilizing all instrumental forces. With two options of text, the choir and optional congregation sing standard harmonization for the first verse, choir sings two-part on verse two, and the final verse is melody with a soprano descant. Majestic instrumental interludes increase the anticipation of the finale. The piece is not difficult chorally but sounds brilliant with the involved keyboard parts and addition of 2 trumpets, 2 trombones and timpani. Available separately: SATB, Orchestration (score and parts for trumpet 1&2, trombone 1&2, timpani).
