This Easter, the sprightly rhythm of a Lutheran chorale tune is combined with more contemporary harmonies to create a jubilant setting that reflects the joy of the Resurrection. The melody of this anthem was inspired by a Gregorian chant tone. The addition of descant and optional congregation help the singers to-in the words of Jaroslav Vajda's exulting text-"complete the Easter overture."
