This Eucharistic service was written for the dedication of the Nave of St. Anne's Cathedral in Belfast, Ireland. The Kyrie features long flowing lines with each part entering independently from each other creating a beautiful layering effect. The Gloria begins with a unison statement of "Glory to God in the Highest," which quickly splits into separate parts. An intricate organ sixteenth note pattern introduces the Sanctus beginning with a solo statement by the treble voices. The service concludes with a peaceful and beautiful Benedictus. Very effective choral and organ writing.
