Voicing: Cantor, Congregation and SATB with optional Organ
By James J. Chepponis
These Entrance Antiphons were composed to accompany the entrance procession for each of the four Sundays of Advent. The antiphons are taken from The Roman Missal and are paired with psalms. They follow an A, B form: A is sung by cantor or choir and repeated by the assembly, B is sung by cantor or choir, and then A may be repeated. The verses, set to psalm tones, may be sung by cantor or choir. All four settings may be sung without accompaniment, or organ may double the SATB parts throughout. Reproducible parts for congregation are included.
