A setting of selected verses from Psalm 36 for SATB voices, medium range treble solo, and organ. The setting concludes with the hymn "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God," either using a single stanza or using all four. Congregation participation on the hymn is optional. This piece was written after the April 27, 2011, tornado that devestated much of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, and was commissioned by Forest Lake United Methodist Church in remembrance of that event.
