The emotional text of this tender hymn depicts a loving image of our God "who dreamed the boundaries of Orion, but will not break the reed"-at once powerful but also gentle, loving, and merciful. The fluid rhythmic motion and graceful melody creates a natural rise and fall that builds the piece effortlessly to its moving final verse.
