In 2009, Paul Carey's stunning rendition of "A City Called Heaven" (15/2593R) for SSAA choir generated an overwhelming cry for new spiritual arrangements written especially for women's voices. Although written for two-part choirs, "My Lord, What a Mornin'" was created in the same spirit. Stylistically strong, it will certainly be a welcome addition to the treble repertoire.
