This two-in-one octavo provides a wonderful set of service music for the Advent and Christmastide season! Arranged by Mark Edwards, the "Festive Introit" (Angels, We Have Heard on High) is set in a buoyant six-eight, with sections that return to four-four, creating a fun mixed-meter feel. The "Benediction" incorporates text from two familiar carols, and continues in six-eight using GREENSLEEVES. Options for Advent usage are provided. The congregation can sing along with both the introit and the benediction. This highly functional set will create festive bookends to any Advent or Christmastide service.
