John A. Behnke's three-movement partita for organ features optional 3–5 octave handbells. The first movement, "Theme," moves between A minor and C major with broad chords. The tune is presented in the tenor with fluid right-hand eighth notes. The second movement, "Contemplation," combines two hymns, "Jesus Loves Me" and "Jesus in the Morning." The third movement, "Joy," is given a dancelike treatment.
