Austin Lovelace used a hymn tune by his first composition teacher, T. Tertius Noble, and has created a seven-movement work. Each movement offers something different and makes this an exciting arrangement for the player and listener alike. Some of these brief movements are for manuals only, and each has a variety of registrations suggested. Only the closing toccata, styled after Vierne, will require some work. A great piece to show the families of sound on any organ.
