Each of the three meditations are based on Scripture texts. Harmonic language reminiscent of early Messiaen, but with the hard notes omitted! Great boon to students and intermediate players seeking music with a more advanced tonal language but simultaneously practical (attainable/learnable) and palatable for congregation.
