This vocal concerto for the "Feast of the Assumption" (Sticheron for the Dormition of the Virgin), bears Titov's remarkable musical eloquence. Professor Dolskaya's musically keen and historically authentic editings, combined with Dr. Antolini's sensitive transliteration and singing-English translation, give insight into the spiritual and musical heritage of the Russian baroque.
