Bell Tree

This compelling Lenten hymn takes its time setting the mood for a quiet moment in concert or worship with a calm 8th note pattern (opt. Bell Tree) and smooth rhythmic chords in the bass. An optional vocal part as well as signing the entire text enhances the message of this compelling hymn. Instructions for signing included as well as suggestions for integrating a Bell Tree from within a single set of bells, incorporating hand chimes as a contrasting voice, and performing the piece when pulling ringers out to sing and sign. "Jesus Walked That Lonesome Valley" is an easy Level 3 piece for 3 or 5 oct, and the bass 4th/5th part can be played by one person.
