The "Janus" Series of AGEHR publishing was established to give Bronze (difficult) level choirs challenging repertoire. This original composition (winner of the 1998 Donald E. Allured Original Composition Award) by Hart Morris fits the bill! Meter change is the name of the game, most frequently between 4/4 and 7/8 and special techniques are abundant. And, of course, there are passages of antiphonal music, both dynamically and in thickness of the texture. Scored in g minor, the piece is 100 measures.
