This most engaging piece creates a picture - as lovely harmonies emerge in chord structures like brush strokes of sound. It flows from the gentle ôfirst thaws" (LVs) of the late March northern Saskatchewan landscape, through the "April raindrops" (TDs) to the beautiful Canadian Lake Waskesiu. This number is the winning composition of the 1994 Canadian composition contest and will be one of the featured numbers at the 1996International Handbell Symposium in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
