Arranged for 3 to 5 octave handbell choir with optional 3 octaves of handchimes, Lloyd Larson's lovely arrangement of this Christmas tune "Humility" opens with a gentle and delicate ostinato figure. A solo melody line on handchimes gives way to both a key change and a full, chordal verse of the tune. The piece returns to the opening key for one final triumphant verse before returning to the opening material to close out the piece. 69 measures.
