This suite includes three separate pieces, all suitable for the Christmas season and written on an easy Grade Level II with few articulations. The first is a spirited "Cold December Flies Away". The second piece may be played in a joyful manner, medium loud, if it is titled "Good King Wenceslas" or it may be played a bit slower and more quietly if titled "Gentle Mary Laid Her Child". The piece gently flows along, using eighth notes in only two measures with no accidentals added. The last piece of the suite, "Hark! The Herald Angels Sing" is written in a serene, reflective manner. You will find the unusual arrangement of this carol interesting and fun to play. 2-3 octaves (15, 25 bells).
